More than 100 students have signed up to train for the Oklahoma City Memorial 5K and half marathon with their teachers and principal.

A few months back, in one of our Wilson Eat Wise weekly meetings, the “backpack program” was brought to my attention. Having attended parochial schools most all my life, I led a fairly sheltered existence on issues such as childhood hunger.
